A Growing Tradition left a comment on my 7/18/09 post with tips for growing Meyer Lemons which reminded me that, with the exception of watering, I haven't been paying attention to my lemon tree. So, I stepped outside, and looky what I spotted!
They're actually taking on lemon-esque shapes!
Now, these are still wee little babies so I'm not going to go running around my yard screaming, "I have two lemons" or anything, but what a pleasant surprise for this gardener's otherwise stalled summer growing season.

Momma_s your baby lemons are so lovely! My lemon tree has some kind of disease, but is producing very big juicy lemons, so I guess I'll leave it to fruit.
