The day we returned home from our two week vacation in VA, the LO ended up with croup (I'm still extremely happy he didn't start his barky cough on the plane!), and as soon as he started recovering, I came down with a nasty cold turned sinus and eye infections with laryngitis, and now Boy Wonder is sick. I sure hope this is all we see of the sickies this season!
The next few days my posts will be focusing on updates around the yard. Today I'll do a mostly pictorial post of the growth and changes that have occurred to the plants I blogged about on 10/8. DH was kind enough to take pictures on 10/21 while I was gone.

Welcome back! So sorry everyone has been sick. I hope you are all feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteDH did a great job with the pics. It was cool to see the comparisons.
Funny you should include your Meyer Lemon update, Thomas at A Growing Tradition also posted about his Meyer Lemon progress and some great tips on growing these: A Growing Tradition: Growing Your Own Citrus
Man! Glad things have calmed down AND cooled off for you. Can't wait to hear some more.
ReplyDeleteEverything is looking really good! I didn't know there was a dwarf Meyer Lemon...Mr. H and I were just discussing a potted lemon plant that we could take back and forth. That would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking back, and for the well wishes, ladies! Everyone is doing a lot better but me, it seems... Can't tell ya' how many boxes of kleenex I've blown thru!
ReplyDeleteGranny~I love being able to keep my lemon tree in a pot. It was a "big" garden investment for me, so I'm takin it w/me when we leave! I recently saw a dwarf apple tree in a magazine called "Columnar Apple." I may need to get two of these next! HA! http://www.gardeners.com/Columnar-Apple-Trees/37-513B,default,pd.html
GrafixMuse~Just finished updating myself on Thomas' blog, and his tree is gorgeous! It's encouraging to know I can grow mine indoors if we ever move back east.
